Time Timers
Helping children visualise time and schedules
|
Time Timers are designed to help children clearly visualise a set amount of time and helpthem understand, how much longer. No other teaching aid reinforces the concept of elapsed time like the teacher-tested Time Timer. Fantastic for all children especial those with Austism, Aspergers, Behavioural issues and anxiety. A fantastic addition to every classroom
These clocks are perfect for children with Asperger Syndrome, Autism, ADHD, behavioural or anxiety issues. They are also great to help children understand time and time telling, schedules and school timetables. They can act as an aide in "time outs" and when waiting for a time or event (EG when dinner is or when they can watch TV etc)
Don't believe us - read the research
We have added a video to our website (right) that explains this fantastic resource better than words can; but in brief; you simply:
- spin the button to the required length of time (up to one hour) - the photo depicts 40 minutes - and turn it on.
- The clocks red section will decrease as the minutes expire,
- the clock will beep when the time runs out.
- The disappearing red disk allows students to "see" time without knowing how to "tell" time.

All Time Timers are designed to operate free standing or wall mounted. They are durable, yet lightweight; and require 1 AA battery (which is not included). They help teach the concept of time; train students to time manage and track duration of activities; set time limits (E.G. for time out, or for computer time, or until an event, like dinner). They are available in three sizes as follows:
Time Timer - 30 cm (12")
This, the largest size of Time Timer, is great to put on the wall for classroom and group activities. Its large size and bold numbers make it easier to read for visually impaired users. It provides 4 double beeps loud enough for classroom use, but not alarmingly loud.

Time Timer - 7.5 cm (3")
