Bilby Publishing was set up by Chris & Lee Bilby, to bring together their Internet Programming,
Marketing & Design skills and to address the e-commerce needs of medium to large businesses.
Over their 20 years of experience the Bilby's have built websites and accounting systems for
international institutions through to micro businesses. During this time they have developed an
expertise in many areas, including:
- Design and programming of CD-ROMs, and other marketing solutions
- Graphic Design, programming, hosting and domain name registration for web sites and web based applications
- E-commerce solutions including customised accounting systems that intergrate with an online sales system
- Web hosting, training and maintainence services

We consult with people from signing parents, native signers and para-professional interpreters in the preparation of our Sign Language products.
The Design team
What can we say about the illustrators and designers?
The illustration team includes Rui, Yevette, Lee, Eun, Anne and Chris. They have also just welcomed a new member, Julie, who has both signing experience and many years of graphics, illustration and design experience.
Sign With Me and Sign Swap users owe the illustrators a great deal of gratitude, although they do a lot more than just sign illustrations.
Almost all projects, from web pages to simple software applications, involve a graphic design component. Often the team must come up with 2-3 options for review, from little to no concept or design starting point, and vaige instructions, such as "I'd like a sort of purply site that's not to bright and looks modern"

The Programmers
A unique type of human being is required to program software, and our team are certainly unique.

Chris brings with him a depth of programming knowledge and experience that spans over 20 years. His expertise includes, but in no way is limited to:
- HTML, Active Server Pages, VBScript, JavaScript, Visual Basic and Visual Basic.net
- Web site Setup & Maintenance: Windows NT, 2000, Small Business Server and others
- 3D Modelling & Mechanical Design: Production drawings to models ready for animation
- Multimedia Preparation: Sound & Image design, composition, preparation and compression

Lee Bilby: System Designer, Programmer and Auditor
Starting her career in Accounting, Lee has many years experience as an Auditor and Accounting system designer for small to international organisations. Her career has spaned almost 20 years and seen many changes in account keeping practices and technology within Australia. Her expertise lies in her extensive understanding of Accounting, Administrative and Sales requirements and developing and facilitating smooth and easy to use data management systems that help ensure a successful business and simple accounting and administrative proceders.
Her experience and knowledge base includes, but is not limited to:
- Artwork, Graphic Design, HTML, Java script, ASP and Visual Basic programming
- Marketing & Promotion: Specifically in promoting on-line stores and web sites, but also experience in the development of CD business cards, interactive CD's, Video promotions, advetising (both print and multimedia) and within the area of press/publicity and promotion.
- Accounting System Design: Design, Developing and Programming of customised accounting stystems & software. Including e-commerce systems.
- E-Commerce solutions: Including point of sale systems both on and off line, that intergrate smoothly with existing accounting systems and increase business marketability and profitability.
